Appreciated a job well done, on time and good channels of communication. The job was to lay flagstone flooring, screeding, building a stud wall, floor to ceiling tiles as well as installation of sink and vanity unit - made more challenging in an old house with no straight walls and floors. We were so pleased with the wet room that we had Jonathan make an en suite shower room for us in a similar style. Once again, it was lovely. The results speak for themselves. Thanks again guys. We have been extremely happy with the instillation of our new wet room. Jonathan and his friendly team (David and James) listened to the many quirky design ideas that I had to create a unique, accessible bathroom and worked to not only achieve them but offered suggestions that improved the project too. Their knowledge and workmanship were excellent. They took their time measuring, cutting and installing all the tiles and fixtures. The result was a perfectly sloping floor and accurately placed tiles. The plumbing was neat and the electrics well thought out and positioned. We have been so pleased with their results that we are preparing to have them work on an en-suite in a couple of months’ time. I would highly recommend them for home improvement work.

Very happy with the quote before work started. Turned up to commence the work exactly when was agreed. The work included refreshing the skirting boards, glossing, living room and dining room, and 1 door. refresh walls in both rooms same colour, and change colour completely on one wall (feature). And a refresher on the ceiling both rooms too. So work took 2 days, and just popped back on the 3rd day to give the feature wall another coat, seal in the frame on the door and just double check everything. Very happy with all the work that was done and will be using their services again.

Our Timescales

Below you can find the estimated timescales of work to deliver your new kitchen from start to finish.

Installation Dates:

Lead times can fluctuate with seasonal demand however the average lead in time is 6-8 weeks from signing your agreement and paying your deposit.

Please note we cannot secure your installation date prior to receiving your deposit.
Please ask for our current lead time before you order to avoid disappointment.

As you can appreciate your installation date is an estimate but we will keep you informed as the estimated start date approaches.

It is in our interest to get to you as soon as possible and we appreciate your understanding and patience should a delay to your installation occur.

When we arrive on the job, the timeline below explains what will happen - as a guide.

Phase 1

Removal

We begin with the messy stuff; removing your existing suite and tiling and preparing your kitchen for the remodel. The waste will be placed into a skip or left somewhere on the property grounds for collection at the end of the project (1 collection only). Whichever is most suitable for access.

First Fix & Building Work

Once the removal is complete, we will advise if anything unforeseen has been noticed by our team. Although this is rare there are some things that just cannot be identified on the survey such as rotting timber or anything else behind the previous kitchen or in the walls that you need to know about. Don’t worry we will help you through this process. We will then proceed to carry out all plumbing, electrical and plastering works listed in the quote.

Kitchen Fit

Now it’s the exciting time and when everything starts to come together. Our professional team will install your new Kitchen; checking everything along the way and making sure everything is up to our high standard, this is where our keen eye for detail and our experience of installation during the design process comes into action.

2nd Fix, Clean Up

The 2nd fix consists of installing all product items once the main kitchen install is complete.

If you've chosen the stone worktop option, it will have been templated once the majority of the kitchen fit has been installed. This process can take 7 days from templating to installation, but we will always make good use of the time by doing the other things we can while we wait—like your flooring, decorating, etc.

We always ensure that we leave our customer's kitchens and homes in tip-top condition; vacuuming and removing any dust and giving your kitchen the once over to make sure everything is working just fine. Oh, and take some nice photos!

Handover & Enjoy!

It’s now time to walk you through your new kitchen.

We will make sure that you are 100% happy with your new kitchen.

Ensuring that you have all the necessary documentation, we will show you how everything works and work through the all the features of your new kitchen.

Once you are completely happy with everything we will sign and issue you with your warranty certificate – and don’t forget that this is guaranteed with HIP!

Final Stage

Completion Date:

On average, your project should be completed within 10 to 15 days after we have started. Sometimes it is quicker and sometimes it can take a little longer. We will always set your expectations on how long we estimate your project to take before we start and let you know how it is going throughout the project.

Project Summary-This project involves the supply and installation of a compact, fully integrated kitchen, designed to maximise storage and functionality within the available space. The layout incorporates integrated appliances, solid oak worktops, a Belfast sink feature, and coordinated finishes throughout. The final design delivers a practical, high-quality kitchen with a traditional aesthetic and modern performance. The installation includes new cabinetry, appliances, solid wood worktops with matching upstands, plumbing and electrical integration for all specified items, and full commissioning on completion. Scope of Works The works will include the removal of existing kitchen units and preparation of the space as required, followed by the supply and installation of new kitchen cabinetry in the agreed layout. All base and wall units will be securely installed, levelled, and aligned to ensure correct operation of doors, drawers, and internal fittings. Solid oak worktops will be supplied, cut, jointed, and professionally fitted, including corner joints where required. Matching oak upstands will be installed, and the worktops will be finished using Osmo TopOil in a clear satin finish. Belfast sink cut-outs will be carried out accurately to suit the undermount ceramic sink. The Abode Belfast sink and antique brass mixer tap will be installed and connected to existing water supplies and waste, with full testing for leaks and correct operation. All specified integrated appliances will be installed, including the induction hob, integrated cooker hood, double oven, built-in microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, and splashback. Appliances will be fitted into cabinetry, aligned correctly, and connected to existing services where available. Basic commissioning will be completed in accordance with manufacturer guidance. Electrical and plumbing connections required for the kitchen installation will be completed on a like-for-like basis, including connections for appliances, sink, and hob extraction, assuming existing services are suitably located and compliant. On completion, all installed items will be checked for correct operation, the working area will be left tidy, and the kitchen will be handed over ready for use.
