Here’s how our home survey and our design visit service works for your home
Customer FAQ- Do you have a showroom
Great question — no, we don’t currently have a showroom. We work differently, and our whole process is built around your home.
We’re a family-run business based in Stowmarket, serving Suffolk and across East Anglia. Because your new kitchen or bathroom is actually going to live in your home, that’s where we do everything — from the first look at the space right through to the finished fit.
How Our Home Kitchen & Bathroom Design Service Works
Instead of asking you to drive to a showroom and picture how a display might translate to your home, we bring the whole thing to you. Here’s how it works, step by step.
Step 1: Your First Visit — Layout, Measurements & Ideas
We come to you to look at the space, talk through how you’d like it to work, and take proper measurements. It’s relaxed, no-obligation, and there’s nothing to pay.
If you’d like to get a feel for what’s out there beforehand, it’s well worth a quick wander round somewhere like B&Q or Wickes just to see the styles and finishes available — a nice way to start gathering inspiration before we meet.
Step 2: The Design Visit — Your Showroom, Brought to You
This is where we replace the showroom entirely — and arguably do it better.
After the first visit, our design team produces high-quality, made-to-measure designs of your actual space — the real layout, the real plans. Then we come back to you with those designs and the samples together: door, worktop, tile and flooring options, right there in your own home, in your own light. So you’re not picturing how a display might translate to your kitchen — you’re looking at the genuine design for your room, with the finishes in your hand, and choosing based on that.
We’ll quote on a sensible standard specification first, and from there nothing is fixed. Once you can see the design and the quote together, we break it down and switch out anything you like. We carry hundreds of sinks, taps and appliances to suit every budget, so we tailor the spec up or down until it’s exactly right. We’ll come back as often as needed and stay in close contact throughout, working through every fine detail until you’re completely happy — no pressure, no rush.
Step 3: Your Updated Design & Sign-Off
After the design visit, we update the design to reflect exactly what you’ve picked out — so you can see everything you’ve chosen brought together in one up-to-date design and visualise the finished result properly. Signing off the final proposal means you’re genuinely happy with that final design and every product in it, before anything goes ahead.
Step 4: Installation, Start to Finish
Once everything’s signed off, our team takes care of the full fit from start to finish. Because we’ve handled the design, the measurements and every product choice ourselves, our fitters arrive knowing exactly what’s going where — there are no surprises and no gaps between “the design” and “the build.”
We manage the whole installation in-house, keeping you updated as we go and treating your home with the care it deserves. From the first board going in to the final finishing touches, you’ll have one team accountable for the result, we will co-ordinate with other trades -to ensure a smooth process — and we don’t consider the job done until you’re genuinely happy with it.
What a Showroom Actually Shows You vs Designing in Your Own Home
A showroom, after all, is really just a set of pop-up displays in a big warehouse-style store, under bright lights and staged in perfect conditions, all designed to sell. It’s a good way to gather inspiration, but you’re still only ever looking at basic sample displays — never your own room.
We do it the other way round. The samples and choices are brought to you and personalised to your project, so we can go through every option thoroughly together. Because we already know your design and spec from the quote stage, we come prepared — if there’s a particular cabinet door colour or finish you’re after, we make sure it’s ready and waiting for your design visit, rather than something you have to imagine from a generic display.
So while we don’t have a walk-in showroom, you get something better: your own room designed for you, the samples brought to your table, and as much time and contact as you need to get every detail right.
