Case Study: Luxury Walk-In Shower Bathroom Transformation in Stowmarket

The project began with a detailed consultation to understand how the existing bathroom could be transformed into a modern, hotel-style space. The focus was on improving layout, upgrading functionality, and delivering a premium finish that would enhance the client’s daily routine. From this, a clear plan was developed to replace the bath with a walk-in shower, incorporate wall-hung fixtures, and integrate smart features.

Following the strip-out of the existing bathroom, the space was carefully prepared to ensure a high-quality result. This included wall and floor preparation, boarding where required, and full waterproofing to create a solid, tile-ready surface. Plumbing and electrical first-fix works were completed early, including provisions for the Japanese smart toilet, lighting, and ventilation, ensuring all elements were correctly positioned before installation began.

The final phase involved fitting the new shower enclosure, vanity unit, and smart toilet, followed by flooring installation, finishing, and a thorough clean. Throughout the project, trades were carefully coordinated, and communication remained consistent, ensuring a smooth, efficient process. Despite working within the constraints of a listed building, the project was delivered to a high standard with a seamless, professional finish.
